This is the home page of Walter and Els van Woudenberg and family, Ezulwini Foundation Inc., Ezulwini Ranch in Colorado, and Casa Ezulwini in Nicaragua.

 

Ezulwini means "heaven on earth" or "place of heaven" in Swazi, the language spoken in Swaziland, a small kingdom in Southern Africa. Although Walter and Els were both born in the Netherlands, they lived close to this magical place during their early years together and selected this name for their family foundation and their two homes, believing it is up to us to make "heaven" right here on this earth.

 

After their initial seven years together in South Africa, the young couple, along with their two children, Christiaan and Saskia, moved to Canada, and then after a decade in Canada found their home in Colorado.

 

Now resident in Westcliffe, Colorado, and with an ocean-side home in Nicaragua, Walter and Els enjoy their family and five grandkids, love to travel, ride horses, and engage in philanthropy and community causes in Colorado, Nicaragua, and internationally.
